I really enjoyed Madlax and El Cazador de la Bruja (same creator), but I haven't finished either. Kajiura Yuki did the music for Noir didn't she? She's awesome.

I really want to watch Noir. A lot of people don't like it, but from what I hear and saw a little bit, it seems like something I would like. Also, the music I heard from it is also good.

Really? Downloaded El Cazador recently. Now I'm really looking forward to watching it.

It's significantly more light hearted than Madlax was, but it's a rose not without it's thorn. Typical drama and suspense that you saw in Noir and Madlax, with that classy edge that makes it irresistable. I just didn't have the patience for it, I may pick it back up though.

'cause there's this university I might be going to in Japan...and the only way to get in is by taking the Japanese profienciency test, which is pretty much the SAT's, except with Japanese instead of english. It's to see how proficient you are in the language...which I don't see the point to, since most of the professors at the university speak english in their class...but yeah.

This is the reason why I want to learn it. I really regret not taking any japanese classes during high school =/ (instead I took spanish >:( )

Nope. I am a fan for stories. Which is why I watch a variety of anime. Right now, the anime I'm watching are very dramatic in their unique ways. Sometimes, I watch more action-filled anime like Scryed and Hellsing. It depends on my mood when deciding an anime and what I have on my pc at that time.

Eh, they SAY "most people speak English" but that's...really up to the person's own experience. I actually am going to teach English in the Land of the Rising Sun, so I'm majoring in Japanese, since well...my English skill doesn't need to be top notch.

Actually, I don't even need to major in anything related to teaching English, the JET program just requires a bachelor's degree...in anything.
